费雪学院创立于1903年，是一所位于波士顿的盈利性私立大学。该校至今超过一百年的教学历史，以其小班制的教学及对学生高度的关注、良好的学术表现以及极高的毕业率，吸引了来自世界各地以及美国各州的学生们前来就读。学校不仅关注学生的个人成长，还培养学生从事各种行业的能力。专业的师资给予学生高度关注以及支持，学生并有机会可以参加实习。

费雪学院提供4所宿舍给学生，全部坐落在费雪学院附近的波士顿城市街道上。其中两幢宿舍大楼是全天候无噪音宿舍。每间房共4名学生，共享厨房、厕所及起居室，另设有休息室、学习区域、洗衣设施与自动售卖机。学生每月至少需另外购买250元膳食卡(meal card) 。从费雪学院的教室和宿舍可以看见查尔斯河(Charles River)及其美丽的河畔。

Fisher College first opened its doors at the turn of the last century in the predominantly working-class city of Somerville, Massachusetts, just two miles north of Boston. The school traces its roots to educational entrepreneurs Myron and Edmund Fisher, who believed the immigrants of that city in the early 1900s should have an opportunity to advance beyond unskilled labor jobs. And so, in 1903, the brothers opened the doors of Winter Hill Business College, going door-to-door to sell courses and a curriculum tailored to the individual; students could study whatever they needed to land the specific job they were seeking.
In its first few decades of existence, Fisher College emphasized vocational preparation, but curriculum plans and objectives have expanded dramatically since then. In 1952, the Board of Regents of Higher Education of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts approved Fisher as a two-year college, and five years later was given degree-granting powers. In 1970, Fisher gained accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Today, Fisher's day school boasts a diverse population of students from all parts of America and many foreign countries.
The Division of Continuing Education was established in 1975 to serve the adult population of Eastern Massachusetts, with branch locations in Boston, North Attleborough, and New Bedford. Our Fisher Online division began in 1998, and now serves students from all over the United States and around the world.
Fisher College offers wide-ranging courses leading to baccalaureate degrees, associate's degrees, and certificates for both traditional-age and continuing education students.
